Shawn’s enthusiasm and passion for fitness and nutrition are evident in his work at BodyFit. An active professional in the health and fitness industry since 2004; Shawn left the commercial gym environment in 2005. He then began operating out of an independent studio, specializing in one-on-one personal fitness. Since the move, Shawn has successfully developed a loyal following in the valley, helping numerous clients re-shape their lives.
Offering a unique approach of incorporating customized nutrition plans and training programs for each client has given him a unique standing in the local health and fitness community. Holding multiple credentials in the fitness industry, Shawn excels at working with clients one-on-one in the areas of weight management, contest preparation and personalized nutritional planning.
Karrie has been involved in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She got her start as a group fitness instructor and transitioned into personal training in 2007. Karrie discovered the world of bodybuilding & fitness competitions in 2008. She competed in her first natural bodybuilding show as a middleweight in 2009, taking first place in her class.
This experience fueled her passion to help others achieve their own transformations. Karrie coaches her clients with the philosophy of keeping the approach to fitness balanced… She believes in not only helping someone improve their physical shape, but also using the challenges of a fitness transformation to improve mental strength and overall health. Karrie specializes in functional training and contest preparation.
Jake’s drive and desire to help others reach their fitness goals comes through personal experience. He discovered his gift in athletics, then found the weight room over 11 years ago and hasn’t looked back since. Jake played 8 years of baseball, along with 10 years of football. Outside of traditional sports, he’s competed in two bodybuilding shows, both in light heavy weight divisions; placing 2nd in both.
After seeing his own transformation take place, Jake wanted to find a way to help others seek out and achieve their own goals as well. He’s found that by providing highly individualized programming and having the opportunity to coach in a one-on-one fashion; clients are given a much greater chance to change and grow at an accelerated rate. Jake specializes in weight loss transformations and functional training with an emphasis on sports conditioning.
